This snack will save your life

This snack recipe is so simply it barely deserves the title of recipe, but it's quick, it's healthy, and it provides the perfect natural sugar rush to combat any afternoon grumpy tendencies. It is especially useful in high stress situations such as, I don't know, holidays with the family, to avoid stress eating and to give you a flavorful pick-me up to be cheery all day long (well, sort of, but it definitely helps).

You will need.
1 medium sized, delicious apple
Ground cinnamon to taste
A very sharp or serrated knife and a plate


Begin by slicing your apple in half, cutting out the core, and then slicing the rest of the fruit into very thin slices.

Lay the slices out on a plate, sprinkle with as much cinnamon as you'd like, and eat immediately. Let your hunger and stress melt away!

If you're feeling particularly festive, add a splash of lemon or orange juice before sprinkling the cinnamon. Or, if you really need that sweet treat, drizzle on some honey.
