I Would Eat That Off A Squirrel

In case you've been peeved at the infrequent blog posts this week (I know, we're not that important) or have just been wondering what we've been up to over the holidays (again, unlikely, I realize), this is the answer...
Challah,

challah,

and more whole wheat, holiday, challah.

So many hand-made potholders.

And abc (already been chewed) shaped gingerbread men.
Happy Holidays!

  1. Your potholders are tops! Intense colors...nothing wishy washy. Wayne's arrived on Tuesday. Exclamations of glee when the wrapping was opened! Thank you! Love, -L
p.s. the pearl onions peeled like the garlic-except for the soft onions. I think I can't go back to frozen!

  2. I'm so excited you are enjoying the pot-holders! I'm actually terribly disappointed to hear about the onions though, not because I'm not entirely thrilled that the garlic technique worked, but because we used fresh pearl onions back in November for our Thanksgiving feast and it took us hours to clean, and par boil, and cool, and meticulously peel each one. If only I had known sooner... I agree though, fresh is best!
