Farm fresh figs.
Not only would I eat them off a squirrel, I would pay any price to do so. $6 a carton from the local, Not Enough Acres Farm (precious, right?) seems like a bargain, especially when you account for the mmmm factor, as in divide the total cost by the number of times I rubbed my stomach and said mmmmm while consuming this beautiful fruit, and it works out to be a dirt-cheap, and exquisite, investment. And my mother was actually the one to make the purchase; I just reaped all the benefits.
