5 months, 2 weeks and 6 days ago, I planted a seed. Then, approximately 4 months, 1 week, and 3 days ago, I replanted the seed because it looked like nothing was happening. 3 months, 2 weeks and 4 days ago, I spotted a sprout. 2 months, 3 weeks, and 5 days ago the plant was still puny. 1 month, 1 week, and 4 days ago I hauled the whole operation indoors. 2 weeks, 3 days, and 15 hours ago I decided to scrap the project, but didn’t. 1 day, 7 hours, and 43 minutes ago I spotted the first, bright green, jalapeño pepper. 1 month, 2 weeks, and 4 days from now I would like to invite you all over for taco night, featuring jalapeño poppers, stuffed jalapeños, and salsa verde (with jalapeños).
